Sarah tends to be our strep susceptible. After no less than 5 strep tests this year (all negative -- each greatly surprising the administering party who in every instance assumed infection) today, today she hit the verifiable germ jackpot. (This also to the administering doctor's surprise. He was convinced she was negative.)
Since he was along for the unavoidable ride, a culture for Comrade Darren was ordered. Thankfully, he's clear. Thus far...
Looks like Sarah will miss out on the "Jonah" facet of Vacation Bible School tomorrow. Thankfully, she has a classmate who can pick up her "homework." A little Slurpee action for the sickee and her sibling goes a long way...

aww I hope she feels better and keeps the fun to herself!
always when the hubby is out of town, i swear!
slurpees do make everything better though!
She's doing great today...frustrated about all the things he-child gets to do while she awaits the contagion-squelching antibiotics to do their duty.
And Carrie, you are SO right...ALWAYS when Daddy leaves town!
Hope Sarah gets to feeling better soon! Sending hugs her way!
