When ever-so-kindly asked by the marvelous mama of Best Family Diaries to contribute a guest post, the inspiration was right there on the screen. Please go over and read the perhaps controversial (TV-centric) post, and make a point to make a comment, dive in and check out her blog...it's wonderful! (*Thanks so much for the invitation, Mrs. Best!)
And here, a related over-artwork discussion:
Sarah: "What's that you're drawing?"
Darren: "It's Magilla Gorilla."
Sarah: "It doesn't look like Magilla Gorilla. It looks like a duck."
Mommy: "Sarah, remember what I said about if you have nothing nice to say?"
Darren: "I'm not done yet..."
Sarah: "Well, it really does look like a duck."
Darren: "You really look like a duck."
Suppose I shouldn't have addressed my admonition solely to Sarah...

me more interesting?!
LOL! Ok, so sounds about right.
My boys (usually henry & teddy) have very similar conversations as the "over critique" each other.
Great drawing!
I LOVE BOOMERANG!
His picture was fabulous, you've got to send that in to the network.
I am hoping they pick up The Adventures of Gumby and Pokey.
Wow that picture is wonderful!! Kids are amazing in the way they draw and color - I'd frame that one, it's fantastic! Cute little back and forth between them too - "you look like a duck." ha ha.
Oh, that's too cute! The convo might not have been the nicest, but its funny when they're not your kids. :O)
Oh - and ♥ that Circuit City video!
"You really look like a duck". That's hilarious! Just the thing a brother would say. :)
