It's a Fun Life. It's a Great Life: Two for TWOSday

Two children. Two perspectives on the appropriate adjective to describe their life experience thus far.

First grade teachers assigned their classes the encyclopedic project of documenting the key moments of their lives, both visually and verbally.

Much like her mother and grandmother before her, rather than include a perceived "unflattering" picture of herself (even if it was a "big" occasion), Sarah made many selections for inclusion based upon the adorable factor of the images available. As is her way, the hand of the artist was mandatory to complete the task fully.

Darren, our wee wordsmith, was "captioning" (with full sentences, a requirement for the assignment) the photos as we were screening the possibilities for the poster. In order to accommodate the volume of "important" events, Darren developed an innovative, arrow-accented "two-sided" timeline.

A factor that amused me to no end: Not a single "two shot" was desired for time-line inclusion by either child. As a matter of fact, they vociferously supervised/directed the "cropping out" of their sibling in many images. (Can you tell which ones? Three photographs were literally halved!)

Never a dull moment. Plenty of "fun" and "great" ones.

Now go on over and visit Deanna's Eight is Great and see who else is observing Two for TWOS-day this week!

They both did such a WONDERFUL job! Too funny that they didn't want their sibling in the photos! LOL

What an awesome project! I may assign this to my kids just for fun!
I can't tell which pics were cut in half but too funny that they didn't want each other in their projects. Such individuals!

Yikes - I need to start taking more individual photos ;)

What a neat project! And how cool that they were both able to add their own creative "flair" to them.
