Take That, Sister Sledge!

WE are family...as depicted by Darren.
[Please note the fondly imagined, but as yet non-existent canine member of our household.]

I used to do the same thing - I would draw dogs & cats in all my "family" pics hoping my parents would finally get the hint that we needed pets. It never worked!

I still love that song! And I love how your husband looks like a pickle! Is he sweet or kosher dill?

So cute! What an artist! And I love that happy sun!

I always love stories about kids that want dogs and the parents aren't wanting to go there - my dear friend Tish took her son to the pet store for a hermet crab and came home with a schnoodle - you know one of those "hypo-allergenic" dogs. I still think that story tops it all. Her hubby was a little shocked - grumbled a bit - and probably is the MOST ATTACHED to the darn dog! :)

Heheheheh... too cute! Darren's a great little artist. And I have to say, I love the little dog. I never broke down and gave my boys one either. lol But now we have 3! (I married into those. lol) Is this like "subliminal" drawing perhaps? You know, if you see it often enough you'll wonder where the dog is and go get him one.....

What a lovely long torso you have mommy.
I always envy the long waisted women.

A dream is a wish your heart makes (or so Cinderella sings), maybe this is a wish his heart draws?

Hee hee! A dog is most definitely in our family future...but first, a fence....

And Laura, the long torse is uncannily accurate. Unfortunately, so are the short legs. :(

At least he drew a dog...my kids usually add Shrek or Yoda to our family pix.
