Always gallant, Darren adhered to the chivalrous directive of "ladies first," and just this morning was confirmed with inflamed tonsils and strep. (On this, the last day of his sister's prescription for the same.)
So to answer the oft-tossed question by those fascinated by the twin mystique, "Do twins always experience pain at the same time?"; the answer is,"No, and I have the two separate co-pay receipts to prove it."

Oh, sigh. Ain't that always the way? I remember last year when Rebecca got pinkeye. I got almost all the way through her week-long antibiotics, thinking we'd been spared the double. The morning her timer ran out, he woke up with a crusty eye. Good thing the pediatrician just wrote me a double-dose of the cream the first time... just in case.
Poor kiddo! Hope the antibiotics kick in nice and fast.
awwww...sorry Sarah and Darren. Not fun stuff, eh? Hope the kids are not too generous to Mom and Dad by keeping the gift going...
Hope you guys feel better soon.
Feel better soon kids!
Ugh. Hope everyone is feeling better soon.
I hear ya! I feel the same way! We were headed to a friends house and was almost there when I see something happen - I turn to see Abby vomit everywhere! I suppose Emma is next! Ugh!
aww, hope he feels better. that is so true though, sometimes they even wait a few weeks to pass it around. ughh feels like someone is always sick.
Praying for your kiddos! I sure hope Darren feels better soon. Strep is not fun at all! :)
Oh yes, the tag team illnesses. Another great thing about twins:)
always one after another...rarely the same time. I sometimes wonder if that's a blessing or a curse. What's worse...juggling two sick kids at the same time? or having it drawn out over the course of two illnesses? Ugh...and now I have to look forward to it coming in 3s...Lord help me! haha!
Hope they both feel better soon!
That's the way things go down around here, too!
Hope they are BOTH all better soon!
oh yuck. strep is no fun. especially when it is drawen out between two kids. We dealt with that starting on Halloween with Hunter getting it and then 5 days later Ethan ended up with it. Then as if that wasnt enough fun they got a virus right after that. The fun and joys of them having just started preschool. At least it wasnt a stomach virus.
OH NO! I hope they feel better soon! poor kiddies :(
Ug, I think that's what's hit our house, get well soon!
I'm hoping they are both feeling better now & praying they'll stay healthy for a long time! We've passed strep around our house, too, & I'm hoping it doesn't come back!
