Way Back When-esday: The Creator and The Critic

Dateline: April 1, 2006
Twins' Age: 4 1/2 Years Old

Long before this blog began, Sarah exhibited her artistic commitment--her artistic compulsion--near daily. On this very day, three years ago, weather facilitated a foray into the sidewalk chalk medium. Not unlike other enigmatic, driven artists from eras past, her work has been doggedly analyzed by her peers. Please note the oddly mature posture of the reviewer over her shoulder.

What memories of "Way Back" warm your heart this "When-esday?" Do share!

Be sure to link back and participate in the web-wide album viewing. Don't forget to leave comments for fellow players...they tend to return the favor.

[FYI: Today's picture was selected by Double Daddy...the man who composed all of his passages in Twinspiration in a single evening...the night before the deadline...and he went to bed on time. Now you know who's the real writer in our house!]

Isn't she adorable...and yes the critic in the background is well poised (and ready to lend advice)

A talented girl already! Now if only I can get Norton to stop me from loading pictures in blogger, I can play along too.

So sweet! 3 of 8 is our committed (compulsive) artist...and I have the boxes of sketch paper to prove it!

Blessings!

What a great photo. Wasn't sidewalk chalk the best invention?

I have a feeling Darren is not a harsh critic at all, just by the way he's sitting admiring her work from afar.

We've had lots of disappearing sidewalk chalk around here, it's been in use coloring my driveway the past several nights. Half pink, half blue lol

She looked so proud of her art work! Not sure what to make of her critic. Was he just admiring or just waiting for her to get done so he could do his own art work?!?
lol!!

Take care!! ;0)
