Parent-proffered suggestions a'plenty followed: Dance classes? No. Gymnastics? No.
Art classes? Well, I can do that on my own...
Then, the book fair. Sarah's selection? Me and My Pony. She read it cover to cover. She took the tests at the conclusion of each chapter. She asked for a pony. In the denial of that request, she asked for horseback riding lessons. That, we can do.

How awesome! I love that big grin on her face!
Oh, hooray! I LOVED riding when I was younger. I hope she really enjoys it!
Wow, look at how confident she looks. Great pictures. That totally would make my Monday as well.
wow! How fun!! Our flower girl from our wedding loved horses and her mom got her lessons when she was about Sarah's age...and still rides!
Wonderful!!!
Some of my favorite memories as a child/teenager involve horses. I'm so happy she's trying it out.
Oh my gosh...what a lucky gal..
She looks beyond cute and heavenly next to that lovely horse.
Those pics make my MONDAY.

I'm so glad you shared that. She has beautiful posture up there. :)
OH! What a happy girl! She looks just perfect in the saddle!
Makes my Monday too!
Horse back riding is so great. She looks very good on the horse good for her! Thanks for hosting MMM! Have a great Monday.
She looks right at home! So may of my former students were involved with horses (not in relationships, but you know what I mean!) and they loved it. It gets them outside and with a beautiful animal...great activity!
Every little girl that I've known that's had horseback riding lessons has loved it! I'm so glad Sarah found another activity that she enjoys!
Nothing beats horseback riding. Hope she learns about care and cleaning as well - makes it even more fun.
Good for you for providing her with the opportunity.
OH! Look at that smile :) Looks like a big hit.
I see myself in that little girl. I took riding lessons for a year. Loved it, but it got pretty expensive (cities, you know) so I had to find something else to do.
She looks so confident with her horse! Way to go!
Oh look at her!!!! That is so cool!
She looks so beautiful.
Have a great week.
So cute - I was in love with horses at that age, too. She looks great up there...
Great going Sarah! Tell her that at 40 I am still completely in love with horses and still ride regularly.
This really put a smile on mu dial.
