Darren's (and his sister's) Age: 4 and a half
On the last day of the twins' first Vacation Bible School experience (it was farm-themed), a menagerie was brought in for the attendees to appreciate. When it comes to animals, Darren knows them with an inexplicable wisdom and empathy...he always has. This picture---one moment captured in what must have been a fifteen minute 100% silent session wherein the wee creature was entirely relaxed, and so was Darren---speaks volumes.

That picture reminds me so much of my Kaleb. He's an animal lover too. (there will be a post to follow, later today or tomorrow on Kalebs run in with our dog this week that caused a trip to the ER.) What a great picture, and sounds like a fun theme for a VBS!!!!
What a sweet picture. Lexy has the same way with animals, she says she wants to be a vet or a pet groomer :-)
OMG he looks like he wants to give it a squoosh...he-he.
oopsie...I am not actually good at this. I forget, Wordless Wednesday, way back... I will get back into the habit. Today I posted a Wednesday Warrenty...funny.
Great post here. Love to read you. Haven't had much time lately, but I will catch up. Hugs.
adorable! What a neat theme too...
What a cool way to end VBS! Love that bandana Darren!
Looks like a match made in, well Bible School. Did the little guy get to come home with you?! I can see a future of small furry things with my boys already...
Oh that is precious. He looks like he is very interested in that little critter.
So sweet!
The empathy on his face is really moving! For such a young boy, that is quite amazing. He's going to be quite a sensitive man when he grows up!
Oh! I am awful. With the whole swine flu fiasco, I totally forgot to sign in today.
LOVE this picture of Darren! Just adorable!
Happy WBW!
Oh that young man has a talent indeed. Maybe a Vet in the making?
Oh my. I am in the middle of our Vacation Bible School week and I cannot even contemplate a farm theme . . . the animals would NEVER survive!!
I like his picture.
I give you an award. Please check my blog.
