Makes My Monday: The Rainbow Connection

Twin mystique and mythology is so vociferously proliferated, I feel obligated to reveal a few empirical observations based on our household's experience:

A.) Darren and Sarah do not---and never have---shared a 'twin language.'

B.) Darren and Sarah do not feel each other's pain. (They inflict it on occasion...)

C.) In contrast, when their Sunday School class made drawings for the "Color the Weather" feature on our local NBC affiliate, behold the twin submissions---created on opposite sides of the room.

Their televised tandem subject matter Makes My Monday.

Argh! Do you not just cringe with the whole twin launguage thing? My boys aren't very verbal, and I hate it when people say, "well, they have their own language." Umm .... no, they don't!

I LOVE their rainbows!

How awesome!!!
Abby & Emma shared a twin babble when they were babies but I do not see now.
I love their rainbows - great artists and celebrities - being featured on tv.

that is really rather cool...they were the same, yet so different at the same time! They may not walk or talk alike or even be identical but somewhere down deep they certainly think alike.

Oh wow! My boys do share some "made up words" - a bit of a language which the Lil Miss sometimes figures out and joins in. But for the rest - yeah, they inflict the pain mostly!

My boys talk, or rather grunt, in identical cavemen tones...does that count :)

By the way, having ANYTHING on tv makes you completely and totally famous for eternity in my world...be prepared for the paparazzi!

I'd never heard of twin languages until a lady in my MOPS group told us that her twins do that. My twin and I never did that.

I'll have to ask my mom if something like the pictures your sweet twins drew ever happened! Happy Monday!

That is so cool that it was shown on TV!! The artworkd is great and how amazing that they did it apart from each other but still drew the same thing! The twin thing is amazing!

Sorry I am checking in a day late. I didn't have time yesterday :(

Mari and Ben may have had the weirdest twin language ever. Only Mari spoke it (Ben is on the autism spectrum and is just starting to talk) but both understood it. I haad to learn alot of it but there are still a few phrases that confuse me. Luckily, they mostly speak English now.
