The haul is huge. In these---the days immediately following the observance of a sweets saturated holiday---to protect their vulnerable young teeth, the twosome go to bed on time. Mama makes a dent. Thievery or thoughtful? You make the call.
PS - Way Back When-esday will go live first thing tomorrow! Be sure to play along!

It can be both...thoughtful thievery...you're doing it for them...for the children, for their precious teeth, right?
Well mine aren't old enough to devour their chocolate bunnies from grandma so I helped them out myself! All thoughtfulness over here!
Thoughtful! Definitely, thoughtful.
oh, you are absolutely being thoughtful ;) You're saving their teeth!!! Good mommy!
That is some GOOOOOOOD parenting my friend!!!
My son didn't know any better, so he got NO candy this year. Don't tell him ;-) He got puzzle pieces in his eggs. However, next year I don't think I'll be allowed to get away with that. Sigh.
All in the name of good dental health for your children. I commend you.
Thoughtful!! I mean...it has to be, cuz I'm doing that too ;)
I eat WAY more candy than my girls do...so I have no problem overloading them (and my waistline)
I was just saying that I'm so glad the "candy holidays" are behind us for a few months! Halloween...Christmas...Valentine's Day...Easter. I should probably check myself into a sugar detox program, as I'm suffering a major sugar craving right now!
Oh we do too - and the Lil Miss caught us out when she noticed things missing.
