Twins' Age: 11 months
Filled with special toys that lived only there, Sarah and Darren LOVED their full-sized playpen. Sure it took up our entire living room for nearly two years, but what a centerpiece! When we finally decided it was time to take it away, they asked for it back for days. Do note the orange-tinged noses....the byproduct of excessive sweet potatoes consumption! Funny how a seemingly non-standout candid from "Way Back" can trigger so many memories.

I LOVED my full-sized playpen as well! (very hard to find too!)
LOL about the orange noses. Mine had those a lot too :)
ps I didn't go all that way back in my post... just 3 months ago :)
Oh my goodness they're so tiny!
I love those little orange noses! So cute!!! You certainly went waaaaaayyyy back!
Oh look at how cute they were!
Precious! Love those orange noses!
at least they ate the sweet potatoes and stayed in the pen....Mine crawled over, climbed out and screamed if penned...hated baby food with a passion and only ate things I could mash...
But I wouldn't trade those memories either!
too cute...I think my mom has many pics of my twin brother and I in our playpen looking just like your two sweeties--I haven't seen those playpens in ages!
I always loved those lil orange noses, too!
I'm jealous that your two liked the play pen so much! My two hated to be contained!!! (but we just had the smaller pack n plays, too).
I had one of the full sized ones for Abby -- it ended up being a toy box at one point.
Sweet, sweet photo and memories!
I sometimes wish I could put my teens in a playpen. :) cute pic.
Oh MAN - I wish we could have found a full-sized playpen when the kids were little. *LOVE* it!!
And what little cuties :) Too funny about the orange noses! LOL!
I wish I had a playpen like that for the girls! I had one when I was little and it's in many pictures so I know they must be perfect for this roaming age when needing to keep them in one spot!
Love the onesies as well! I love lazy days where you just hang out together in pjs and whatnot and just enjoy the day!
I think the orange-tinged noses are just super cute!!
where do you get a full sized pack n play? we're using just two right now....and we also converted our dining room into a pack n play, lol...
Our girls had orange noses for a long time. I didn't realize it until so many folks commented on it. I really tried to balance the amount of orange fruits and veggies they ate, but to no avail. I guess they finally outgrew it...or folks just gave up and don't say anything anymore. :)
I did mine on my nephew this week since his birthday fell on Wednesday.
I began following your twitter as well. I noticed you were from Richmond. I lived in Hampton Roads all my life until 2009!
I enjoy your blog!
