Upon hearing the readily distinguishable first synthesized notes of "Billie Jean"....
Mommy (turning up the radio, anticipating an anti-drug talk): "Oh, this is a Michael Jackson song...."
Darren (with ill-founded pride): "Thriller!"
Sarah (not at all confident, but rightly convinced her brother was wrong): "Beat It?"
Mommy (seeing my propyphol awareness opportunity fading fast): "No..."
Darren (playing his last card): "Leave Me Alone?"
Sarah: "ABC?"
Darren (unacquainted with the Jackson Five version, only preschool) "Seriously Sarah? No way is this
A-B-C!"
Mommy: "You're both wrong. This is song is called 'Billie Jean.'"
After the song continued and conversation strayed for about a minute....
Sarah: "Are you sure this isn't Beyonce?"

really, really funny.
i am amazed, though, at how many michael jackson songs they knew!
Too funny! I suppose Michael sounded a little like Beyonce in that song. All the songs mentioned are greats!
Mine are only two, and their big brother is only four. So it may be a while but I know this is coming...
