Back in my day, we listened to elementary school morning announcements via an oversized, orange-y colored speaker mounted clumsily in the corner of the classroom. Now, our kids experience interactive announcements...complete with pledges for both performance and patriotism.

That IS high tech! Even in high school we had the crackly speaker boxes. Very cool!!

very cool! My school that i teach at still has the old school rusty orange speakers that are half hanging off the wall! ha!
I would totally have to stay and sneak a peek of that!
Now I need to go find out which one of my smoke detecters just started beeping at me, batteries...ARGH...
At least I hope it is a smoke detecter...otherwise I have a creature in my house.
