Tasked with creating mobiles strung with their hopes and dreams, the twins' descriptions of their desires ran the gamut.
Naturally, there were the tangibles: He-Twin's "A Million Bucks" and She-Twin's "iPod Touch." Then, there were some surprises.
She-Twin's ambition ("I win American Idol") and her altruism ("To help animals")...
He-Twin's hunger ("Bucket of Chicken") and craving for comfort ("A pillow to fall on")...
One for universal aspiration...
What would YOUR mobile mention?
Leave a comment, and let me know.
(Truly, I would love to share some of your hopes and dreams with our twins...so don't be shy. Please chime in!)
Hopes and dreams---no matter how big or how small---are important in helping kids learn to set goals and motivate pro-activity. Speedy facts about just how important those aspirational ideas are can be found here...at FishfulThinking.com!

I like this!
My hopes and dreams: tangible- a horse! Okay, more than one horse!
ambition- sleep as late as I want on a week day.
altruism- to be the best mom I can
hunger- popcorn. It's my favorite.
comfort- clean sheets and a bed I didn't make.
And I want peace too.
This was fun!
Love this and LOVED your kids wishes <3
I wish for:
Cure for cancer.
Stronger faith.
A full belly, every day.
Mine id to be a good mom to my twins when they get here and also that they would hurry and get here!
wonderful!
Mine would include:
To be the best mom I can be.
To make a difference in each of my students' lives.
Health and happiness for my family.
Oh...and a winning lottery ticket wouldn't be too much to ask for, would it? ;-)

Right now I am just wishing for a healthy pregnancy, as I just found out last Friday that I am pregnant...... It has been really hard not telling everyone, but family and some friends know because I just can't keep my mouth shut!
Hi There! I just wanted to let you know that you have a bloggy award awaiting you on my blog! Take Care, Andrea
They had some awesome answers!!
Thanks for asking us to join in!
Hopes: That my kids grow up knowing that they are loved, knowing that God is at the heart of EVERYTHING and that they look back at their childhood and remember "laughter" most of all!
Dream: Well, I'm going go with he-twin and shoot for the whole millonaire/lottery thing. If that doesn't work out, then it sure would be cool to own a Bed and Breakfast and entertain/host people all the time, and have weddings in the gardens, and be surrounded by beautiful and comfortable things in the house and all over the property! ;-)
Do you think I could fit all of that on a popsicle stick!? heehee
Hmmm, mine wont fit on a stick either...at least not right now.
