Twins' Age: 1 and a 1/2

Oh, the celebrities we met at Barnes & Noble storytimes! (That's She-Twin is in the sweet simian's embrace, and He-Twin is the wispy-haired, brontosaurus tee-shirt wearer in the foreground.)

Just yesterday, nine years later to the week, we visited the very same Barnes & Noble to purchase a facet of Double Daddy's pending Father's Day present. (We neglected to see how many copies of Twinspiration were on the shelf! When the book was first released, the kids always wanted to "see their picture" on the back of the book once they found it on the shelves. Even today, if we are at a bookstore---especially out-of-town---there's always a wee thrill to "finding" themselves.)

Memories of H.A. Rey's wondrous works, and the environments in which we enjoyed them, warm my heart this Way Back When-esday.
