Oh, the tw-innocent holiday seasons of yore...the days when She-Twin and He-Twin would open only the day's designated Advent calendar window to extract a single chocolate to have with a plastic mug of milk.

Last year, at age 13, all candy was consumed before December's dates had reached double digits.

Neither Santa's sleigh nor Christ's coming were expedited by their sweet impatience, yet my babies then and now, and the perpetuation of tradition, warm my heart this mid-week.
