Since You've Been Gone

It's been twenty-four hours...

Before today, vacuuming your white fluffy fur from the carpets was inconvenient. Now, it’s painful.

We don’t have the heart to empty your bowl.

We’ve discovered just how ugly our ugly cries are.

We realize the sound of your clicking paws en route to your breakfast was an integral part of our mornings.

We'd never have asked you to be quiet if we’d known how awful the quiet is without you here.
[*Had to delete video with his barking. Too early and hurtful to hear it.]

Filling the twins’ lunchboxes---or any activity in the kitchen---is much quicker without your “supervision,” but not half as much fun.

We cannot bring ourselves to open the bag holding your collar and tags.

You---and soft bits of you---are everywhere and will be forever. We’re so thankful.

Rest peacefully and joyfully, Sweet Larry. We'll always love you.

A nice visual tribute to the everyday of life and then not life.
