Tuesday Twinterview

Once again, over breakfast...

"What's the best part about having a sister/brother over the summer, and what's your favorite summer thing to do together?"

Darren:
"Going to Great Wolf Lodge."

Mommy: "And that's the best thing about having a sister over the summer?"

Darren: "Yes, and it's the best thing to do, too."

...and hand to Heaven, asked entirely separately...

Sarah: "Going to Great Wolf Lodge."

Mommy (sounding remarkably like a broken record): "And that's the best thing about having a brother over the summer?"

Sarah: "Yes it is, and it's my favorite thing to do, too."

Suppose there might be something to this twin-speak/twin-telepathy thing after all.

So what do your twins/children find best about having a sibling in the summer months? Do tell, and add your link and comment below!

ACK! Look at those tongues! LOL What the heck IS that? :)

I can't wait until my kids get older so I can start asking them your questions...I'm not sure they'd "get it" yet. Especially this week's ... you mean, there are times when I don't have to be around her/him?? heh

I was just thinking the same thing as Nancy...wish my two could answer the questions! I think they'd tell me that they love always having someone to play with and look out for them though...they are very sweet to each other most of the time. :-)

it is so funny that they had almost exactly the same answer!

Do you think they rehearsed it? That is so neat!

That's remarkable. Or maybe this Great Wolf Lodge thing is just totally awesome.

i love it! twin speak at its finest :)

we did great wolf lodge this past may and i loved it, but the twins weren't old enough to really enjoy it yet.

Hee hee! I SOOOO thought that they'd come up with something poignant over manipulative...oh well!

And the blue tongues -- that does merit a bit of explanation...we bought some Kroger Sesame Street themed cupcakes. Guess Cookie Monster was creature of the hour. Nothing quite like opaque day-glo frosting...

That is the funniest picture. I love it!

I'm not sure what mine would say is the best thing about having a brother or sister to play with in the summer. It seems they spend quite a bit of their time bickering.

The babies can't tell me yet, but they might have the same answer. Now if you gave my 5 year old the choice between his sibling or "the lodge", I know he would pick GWL, but maybe he would say both. (okay, I'm hallucinating)

We are "going to the lodge" (sorry, got the song in my head now) in a few weeks. Babies second time, I am sure it will be a bit more fun at 18 months than it was at 6 months. But a bit more work in many ways.

Oh Cheryl...here's the song, wait for it to upload and watch the car moving. Don't let the kids listen or they will be singing it, its catchy. I think they played it on the TV at the hotel too.
