Dateline: Late Summer 2002Twins' Age: About 10 months
How Darren and Sarah LOVED their playpen! (Which for the first year+ of our babies' lives was the centerpiece of our living room.) When guests came to visit, and they wanted to read to them, this was often the audience that greeted them...leanin' and listenin'. Do note the little orange-tinged noses. Sweet potato loving babies tend to retain the veggies' pigment under the skin-- so verified our pediatrician. Go figure!

They are as cute now as they were way back then!! I did not know that about the veggies- I was always trying to get the "yellow" off my kids but to no avail. Of course I would just about give anything for my kids to eat enough veggies to turn that same "yellow". Though I have resigned myself to being the grilled cheese cook for the next umpteen years.

I love the orange noses too! My kids sported those through their baby food days too!!! We had a play pen like that for Dallas when he was young. But it was from ME when I was a baby, so it didn't last too long! But I LOVED how much room it had!
