Way Back When-esday: Po-Robot

Dateline: October 31, 2006
Twins' Age: 5

In an effort to prove my mental accuity to myself, this morning I attempted to remember the kids' costumes from birth to the present day. Here's where I got hung up. Oh, middle age. Thank goodness for the dated, digital pictures!

Truth told, this costume of Darren's is perhaps my favorite to date. He and his dad worked on it together, and it was a joy to behold...in progress and on parade.

And Po, oh, long-beloved Po. The costume I ordered via eBay arrived sans the requisite antenna. We made do with a felt construct, and a semi-sphere of oasis (florists' styro) atop Sarah's head to keep it semi-erect.

Way Back When-esdays really do bring it all back! (Whew, and I was getting worried!)

Share one of your favorite images and a few words from "Way-Back!" Be sure to link back to Twinfatuation to share in the web-wide memory reactivator!

I love that robot costume! It reminds me of the "AA" battery costume I made for Fiver last year.

Surprisingly enough, Target doesn't sell too many battery costumes :)

I'm sitting her kicking myself because I can't remember what that show is called that your son was the red person. It's offical. I'm brain dead.
