Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow...

Praise Him down here for Trader Joe.

No complaints about sacrilege, please. I am 100% sincere in my appreciation.

Until last month, not too unlike the Beverly Hillbillies, every few weeks the Lages would load up the truck and drive to the nearest location. All the way to Newport News. An hour away. We loved it. The kids loved it. The length of the trek merited DVD watching privileges in the van.

Once we arrived, the scrumptious samples and visual interest invariably surpassed all our local grocers one hundredfold.

Coloring sheets. Free fruit leather. Balloons. Really, what's not to like? Well, the distance, I suppose...

Now, they're heee-eeeere. A mere 20 minutes away.

A few weeks ago when we addressed the glut of marvelous Chucks, there was one glaring omission...
Today, I am thankful...

Darren realizes apples are an "anytime food."

Sarah realizes that cookies are not an anytime food (until you are a mommy...)

and together, they are willing to give just about anything from Trader Joe's a try...

For all the kind bloggy wishes for Double Daddy's birthday -- thank you!

I'm a huge Trader Joe's fan too. Just love it. Yours is way more fun than mine though - we have no booze, and no coloring sheets or free fruit leathers! Just balloons and free juice. But that said, I don't mind. I just love my TJ cereals, home made pizza, frozen apps, and those oreo cookies!

I don't think we have a Trader Joes anywhere near us. I'll have to look it up!

Hope Double Daddy had a great bday!

And...I'll be playing along tomorrow...

Never heard of Trader Joe's I don't think. Just talking about any kind of food or cookies makes me crave and crave endlessly since I can't have it right now. Have a good one!

I'm so jealous. There are no Trader Joe's here. We are deprived. *sniff* :)

What fun! Alas, we have no Trader Joe's anywhere close to where I live. I content myself by living vicariously through others. :-)
