Way Back When-esday: Lights of My Life

Dateline: December 2002
Twins' Age: 15 months

Whenever the season is moving at too fast a pace, or the holiday's meaning has gone off-base, I recall this image in my mind's eye. Wonder. Light. Love. Promise.

Makes me rejoice by bringing to mind all the right reasons.

So join in the fun! Find a picture that moves you, soothes you, makes you laugh...so long as it's from "Way Back," it's fair game!

And we've got a GIVEAWAY: The folks at Scholastic have offered us a 4 DVD set of Treasury of 20 Storybook Classics! Narrated by well-known celebrities, many of our family's favorites are brought to video life with uncanny respect to the original texts. Play along with Way Back When-esday, add your URL in the Mr. Linky, and you're entered. Add a comment? You're entered. Do both? You're entered twice!

Be sure to link back to Twinfatuation to share webwide. Can hardly wait to see your "Way Backs!"

Wow, Cheryl, you really thought to take some creative pics, I can totally see why this is a winter favorite!!

Last year my Christmas tree only lasted about 6 hours as the twins tried repeatedly to EAT the lights :) But how I wish to have had a pic like yours!

I love the picture and the idea. Next week, if this feeble old mind remembers, I will participate in Way Back Wednesday. Thanks for the chance to win the books, my little guy would love them!

Those are the kinds of pictures that every twin mommy needs. Something to look back on when they are (like my girls) in the terrible twos! LOL! ;o)

This is the first time I've left a comment on your site, haven't had time to check the rest of your site out, but will. The other thing is I don't have twins. I found out about your site from my sister Barb @ Tale of two twinkies. I hope you don't mind that I participate? Take care, I'll be checking your site again. ;0)

What a beautiful picture of your babies. I am sure they enjoy the wonders of Christmas just as much these days (maybe not with a string of lights...)

What a sweet picture!

I'm pretty sure mine would have bitten the lights or strangled each other in the time it would have taken to snap this shot at our house!

OOOH! They are so cute! And I love the lights reflecting on them like that. Too Cool!

When I saw your picture, I knew I had to play this week! Getting the light shots last year was much easier than this year!

Where'd Mr. Linky go? He's not here. Perhaps he's doing some last minute Christmas shopping?
