I think the truth will reveal itself by 3:00 PM...oracle that I am.
M's mom was a Pediatric ICU nurse, so she was extra harsh on sick days. Unless you were actively bleeding or vomiting, off you went. So my mother-in-law would approve of your decision. :-)
it's tough to make the call, but you just gotta go with your gut instinct! i never let lydia stay home (not that she ever wants to, the girl loves socializing) unless she has a fever, she is hacking up a lung or vomiting.
I hope she feel better already and you don't get that phone call.

and hopefully pediatric accurate diagnosis....

Hopefully Sarah's ok! My Sarah seems to be coming down with a cold, which I hope clears up quick - otherwise no hospital visits for her to mommy and baby next week! :-(

You are so right. That is always a tough call. I seem to make the wrong decision every time. Send them and they throw up at school. Keep them home and they seem fine. Why is that?

I have these exact questions in my mind with my son all the time when he complains. Like he says his ear hurts but he has no fever. Hmmm... What to do what to do?! So I send him to school anyway and just hope it will all come out in the wash. I sent my baby (Andrew) to the daycare once and they called me not to long after to come and get him and come to find out he had pneumonia. Poor baby! Talk about a guilt trip delux!!
