PS - For those perhaps concerned about the "Darren's class only" views: When the students were sent home with a "Parents are invited to share history with their students" flyer, Sarah without pause declared, "Mom, I really do not want you to come watch the inauguration with my class. I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but really, I'd rather you didn't." Gotta love when the twins themselves solve potential twin parenting dilemmas!

ROFL at how your lovely Sarah solved any conflicts of interest :) Bright girl.
Love the photos.
How funny of Sarah! I am very sad to have just missed the live broadcast of Obama's speech...hoping to find it here and watch the replay.
awwww leave it to a girl to know just how to put it into words...LOL...too cute!
Great pics! We watched today at school, too!
That's funny and it gave you an easy out!
Interesting idea to invite the parents! I had a customer right during the inauguration part, but watched some of it on the computer in the back room at work.
How do you feel about twins being put in the same class? Do you think different classes are better?
These are great pictures. I'm so glad you got to share the moment with them. Bella's school not only did not invite us, but they didn't cancel her winter lunch activity so she missed most of the speech!
LOL too funny about Sarah not wanting you to watch with her class... my oldest girl is the same way!
I have to ask though, since your twins are school age, have they always been in seperate classes? do you advocate seperation or think they should be in the same class? I have a few years before they are in school, but this is a big issue around here!
OH yes, what a great way to solve that. I am wishing and hoping for the same for future.
I just love the way her head works - she is a great thinker and independant little person mom!
