Makes My Monday: Called to the Carpet

Taken just minutes ago, here were the first few faces joining me for "carpet time" in Mrs. W's first grade class. We read one of our family favorites Lane Smith's John, Paul George & Ben in honor of pending Presidents' Day...we even had the kids listen carefully for "inappropriate" lines.

Reading to -- and then, in turn, being read to by -- a class of darling elementary schoolers Makes My Monday.

What starts your week off wonderfully? Please share!

Cheryl,

I've missed you, honey. I'm slowly making my way back around blog-land and trying to catch up.

And yes, I agree. There is nothing better than reading to and reading with little ones. I do that on Thursdays. It's so fun!

Hugs!
