Bad Haiku: Nosey

Dress rehearsal's done
The players are all ready
Yay, Pinocchio!

Sarah is appearing in the annual school musical tonight...as one of the waves that buffets Gepetto and Pinocchio about prior to the whale going all Jonah on them. (Darren elected not to try out this year.)

Last year, when the twins were clouds dancing around Jasmine and Aladdin in the 2008 musical, I was weepy. Care to wager on maternal tears this year? (All signs point to yes...)

Be sure to go visit Laura of Catholic Teacher Musings for Bad Haiku Friday...especially if you are a syllable counter!

Tell Sara that nestled in the middle of Tuscany, there is a quiet hillside town called Collodi where Pinocchio was written.

There they have a wonderful Pinocchio Park complete with a giant maze, a giant spitting whale, and bronze statues of all the characters.

Here's what is written at the beginning of the park: "Once upon a time there was a prince . . . no, that's wrong, once upon a time there was a piece of wood."

Good luck!
