Makes My Monday: Just Ducky

...and goose-y, and turtle-y and koi-y, and heron-y and beaver-y. Such are all the creatures in the water feature alongside our local Panera Bread. What an inexpensive way to enjoy an afternoon and re-purpose the slightly stale saltines, tortilla chips and baguette bits.

What is brightening your week's beginning? Pick a picture, tell a tale, and play along with the web-wide Monday making.
Be sure and pop in on other participants to share in the cheer...and leave a comment while you're there!

Sounds just perfect. We have a nature park near us..but the water is horrible. There used to be ducks and frogs..now it's just an icky mess.
Great picture.
Have a super Monday,
hugs

We went to Lake Las Vegas a couple years ago and Lauren had more fun feeding the catfish than anything else we did! Funny - back to basics is always good!

That's a fancy Panera . . . ours is nestled (as in smushed) in the middle of a shopping complex.

Have a great Monday!

inexpensive is like music to my ears. Looks like they had lots of fun. We have a lake behind us flooded with ducks so we always give them our old and stale stuff.

Happy Monday Cheryl!!

We have a Panera like that, too! The kids love it. In fact, Fiver calls it "Duck-nera" in order to differentiate it from the other Paneras that are local to us. :)

mmm....Panera! One of my favorite lunch spots!

Ironic...I was just reminiscing the other day of my favorite 'duck feeding' spot on MSU's campus when I was a lil girl and told my mom I wanted to take my 3 there this summer. Can't wait!

What a fun way to have lunch! Our local zoo has a Ben & Jerry's in the middle of a duck pond and the kids tend to even bypass the ice cream for the duckies :)

Hope you had a fun weekend!

Great photo! We, too, have a park where we can feed the fish, ducks, geese, etc.... it's a great way to spend a day & get rid of food.... glad you had such a great time!
