Way Back When-esday: Tears of a Clown

Dateline: August 2006
Twins' age: Nearly 5

The ultimate handler of Happy Meals was quite the attraction at our local Watermelon Festival three years ago. Despite her body language, behold the requested featuree on Sarah's birthday cake a mere few weeks later...
Fickle female, or Sweet Sarah: Ronald---nor the Burger King---will not be gracing my girl's cake in a few weeks.

What memories make your mid-week wonderful? Dive into those digital photos or scan a scrapbook find and play along with Way Back When-esday. Be sure and link back to participate in the web-wide reverie...and leave a comment when you do!

One of my favorite birthday parties as a kid was when I was 7 and we had it at McDonald's. They had one of those huge outdoor play areas - we were in Heaven!!

Thanks for sharing the pics - brings me back :)

How cute! But, I must admit that I'm a little frightened of good old Ronald McDonald!

Good old Ronald McDonald, or rather Ronald Kakonald as he is known in our house. I heard they make a great deal of money and have to go through very rigorous training to become one!
