Twins' Age: 7 Weeks
Taken at the notoriously fussy "witching hour" between 5:00ish and 7:00ish (actually, that's more like "witching hours"), Darren in his ghost hat and Sarah in her pumpkin hat seem less than excited by the prospect of greeting the treaters on their first Halloween. (They were too little to take out on a fallish night, so their impromptu hand-painted shirts and OldNavy seasonal caps were the extent of their costumes for that first year.)
Cries and screams were an appropriate behavior for the occasion, and they seemed to know it!

OMG that made my night. They are so precious. I just want to hug them! Cries and all!
oh! I remember those days... I always felt bad for Paul when he got home from work, so excited to see the babies...and this is often what he came home to. Amazingly we didn't face the same intense witching time with Adam...not sure if he was just a more content baby or if we 'got it' better with him with a routine sooner and what not...
Happy Halloween!
OMGOSH! I LOVE IT! Mine were itty bitty their first Halloween and pretty sure we spent that night the exact same way... during the witching hour. LOL
So tiny! How well do I remember that witching hour!
they are so cute and tiny!
That;s cute! We called it suicide hour.
How adorable are your little ones! I remember those witching hours way too well. Bue eventhough they were fussing - they are still adorable, aren't they?
Awww how adorable.
HAHAHAHA! Oh...they were SOOO not happy! LOL
That is a great picture! They were so cute! but not happy.
very cute picture.
My kids each had the "witching hours" as well..how did you do it with 2 at once...I was struggling with just 1 doing it.
Have a Wonderful Halloween Weekend.
They are so little!! I just want to snuggle with them!!
Oh my goodness! They don't look happy AT ALL!!! I kind of try to pretend those moments don't happen. Block them from memory. DENIAL is a great thing! ha ha!
I made an oops on Mr. Linky, it still links to my Way Back post and not The Botany of Desire post!
Awww. They are so adorable!
Oh geez, they are mad. I must admit I don't miss the witching hour!
So cute even while crying. My twins weren't all that impressed with their first Halloween either.
It is so funny that we had our babies right at the same time. I have a very simliar pic of Bella with scrawny chicken legs in a pumpkin hat crying her eyes out. Hard to believe they were every so tiny and fragile!
