Sarah (in an epiphany moment) : "You know since Larry isn't allowed upstairs, he'll be able to see Santa when he comes."
Darren (clearly having given that fact some significant thought): "I know! That's just one of the reasons why I wish I was a dog...."
Mommy (with interest piqued): "What are some of the other reasons you wish you were a dog?"
Darren: "Reason One: No school. Reason Two: Dogs are colorblind..."
Mommy (interrupting): "Why would you want to be colorblind?"
Darren: "Face it, Mom. Some colors are really just yucky. Reason Three: They all get to see Santa."

Some days I'm completely convinced that you make this stuff up! Haha!! They are so adorable... I love "hearing" the stuff they come up with!

Darren is quite the natural comedian.
There is a great book called "My Dog Never Says Please" by Suzanne Williams - my girls love this book. It is funny! Oh to be a dog!
I'm with Laura, wondering which colors are yucky.
My kids always set out a favorite stuffed animal to meet Santa.
Since I hadn't pursued the "yucky" color question at the time, posed the query to He-Twin this morning.
Apparently, pink and yellow are the big losers. ;)
Makes total sense to me! I find the color pea green revolting.
