Twins' Age: 21 months
From their conception right up until Tuesday night, Sarah and Darren have shared a room. As of this Wednesday morning, our twins wake up in separate spaces.
Looking back at our crib-contained little ones laughing it up warms my heart this Way Back When-esday.

They are so sweet...love their giggly smiles! What a huge milestone. I hope they like their separate rooms!
Separation is such a tricky thing for twins. I'm glad they're finding their way to independence on their own schedule.

so sweet cheryl -- i have been thinking a lot about when my girls were little, it seems almost like a surreal dream when i think back to the first year or two ..... and then i look at them now and can't believe they are as tall as they are, and getting so {gulp} grown-up.

I love how when you look back, you can see their now big kid faces in their little kid faces! (If that even made any sense, I am hopped on on cold medicine!)

What a sweet picture! I hope the change has been a smooth one for your twins.
So, where they excited or a bit hesitant to have their own rooms?? My 2 still share a room and the lil guy has his own room yet. Eventually we'll put the boys together and the Miss will get her own room - but right now the situation works for everyone so it stays!
