Way Back When-esday: Soaking in Seven

Dateline: September 2008
Twins' Age: Freshly 7

Both He-Twin and She-Twin chose to spend their 7th birthday at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg. Forget a party with friends. Forget a home-based family get-together. That year, and on plenty of occasions to celebrate since then, it's been splashy good fun topping their  list.

The anticipatory smiles on their faces warm my heart this October mid-week.

Why don't you dive into your digital files and play along with Way Back When-esday?

Seek out an overlooked snapshot or scan a scrapbook find...share an image you might not otherwise. Tell the tale and place a post on your blog. Be sure and link back to participate in the web-wide reverie...and please leave a comment when you do!

Way-back when, Double Daddy and I wrote a book on twin pregnancy and life with twin infants. Twinspiration: Real-Life Advice from Pregnancy through the First Year (c. 2006, Taylor Trade) is not only available in bookstores nationwide, but it is now on Kindle and Nook! Check it out, and let us hear from you!

Their faces say it all -- great party-substitution mom!

So cute! My twins are only three so we don't go so far back yet!

Mine aren't yet two, so I had to cheat a bit. If I had the ultrasounds available I could have dropped one of those in too I suppose.

Smart kids - I think choosing that over a party wins hands-down! :)

Vibrant - and Goofy - Fall

I pass by there a lot. I am thinking of spending a weekend there one time. It did look like fun!

We have a similar picture! My kids love it there but I wish the water were warmer. Great shot!

The Dudes love GWL and we go to the Williamsburg one too! It's like their happiest vacation spot!
