Makes My Monday: Rey, A Drop of Golden Sun

A visit to the media center (a.k.a. library) at the kids' school revealed shelves resplendent with favorite authors of mine way back when I was an elementary student....

Knowing my twins' names may grace the check-out cards of titles I checked out oh-so-many years ago Makes My Monday.

Link up and share what Makes YOUR Monday.

Our girls LOVE Curious George! And I have many of the books I had as a child...it definitely warms my heart to see them enjoying some of the same stories as I did once upon a time! :)

Thanks - as always - for the link-up, Cheryl!

My boys LOVE Curious George too! Many of the books they have were mine when I was young too.

We visit our library every week! I LOVE finding old favorites but I must admit, I also love finding a brand new, never checked out gem sitting on the shelf, too! Its like a treasure!!

I've tried so hard to get my son to read MY favorite books from childhood, but they don't seem to click with him. How can he not like mysteries? I loved Encyclopedia Brown!

I have another shot with my twin girls who are just learning to ready now. So far, they love Ramona too.
