For the Love of Larry

As a facet of He-Twin's eligibility to test for his black belt in the coming weeks, a community service project of his own doing is required.

What better recipient of his efforts than the Richmond SPCA, from whence we adopted our beloved Larry Dog? Pet goodie donation boxes now are placed in some of our favorite neighborhood establishments, and will remain in location for the bulk of the holiday season.

Here's hoping Larry's pals will enjoy plenty of treats collected in his honor until they find their forever homes.

If you live in the Richmond area, please feel free to make a donation of pet goods "For the Love of Larry" at Once Upon a Vine, Northside Grille, Paws on MacArthur or at Seventh Street Christian Church.

If you love a shelter acquired animal and wish to make a donation to the Richmond SPCA, by all means, do so!
[Please consider putting "For the Love of Larry" on the memo line.]

He-Twin---and Larry---thank you for your consideration and support!

What a fantastic service project! I think the idea of "community service" sometimes seems daunting...you don't know what to do, or how to contribute...but if you can follow your passion and find something close to your heart, it can be pretty easy, and fun. :)

Furry babies are a cause close to my heart, too. :) :)
