Good Morning, Good Morning...

After being declared a "tyrant"---with justification...and ramification---early in the snow day, decided there was no better time than the day after the Oscars to subject our performance-loving pair to one of my personal favorites, one of the most egregious Best Picture snubs of all time.

The wailing and gnashing of teeth was significant, but watch it to the end they did.

Afterward...

Mom: "What was your favorite part of the movie?"

She-Twin:
"The part where we said it was like Darren."

[*Apparently, He-Twin has quite the female following...]

Mom: "What was your least favorite part of the movie?"

She-Twin: "All the rest of it."

They say that now, and you can call me crazy, but I have a sneaking suspicion there were quite a few high points they'll remember.

If not, you---not they---can go ahead and call me a tyrant, but it sure did make for some Mama-pleasing viewing this wintry afternoon.

By the way, the automated call from our public school came at 5:26am. Did NOT feel like singing "Good Mornin'" quite that early....

I don't think our kids have the same taste in movies. My girls act out scenes from Singin' at least once a week!
