No coordinated costumes---they've long-been part of the ancient past.
No more knocking and neighborly at-the-door niceties.
No interest in the distribution of treats to those hitting up our home turf.
All Hallows' Eve with high school twins...is still fun.
Yes to pre-holiday and night-of parties with pals, some with---
Yes to after-dark adventure in the alleys, wielding a clown club (modified with mounted flashlight), just in case.
Yes---mysteriously---a proliferation of candy still surfaces.

I'm enjoying Halloween so much since the girls were born. Glad to see the fun continues, even if in a different way!
