Metamorphosis Monday

From captured (rescued from a busy sidewalk) caterpillar, to cotton candy-esque cocoon, to "butterfly moth," our twins recently observed nature at its finest. [Please do think twice before you reflexively swat at a moth...it may be our family's freshly released friend.]

Wow, that is amazing. Good job kids raising the caterpillar to be the beautiful butterfly moth he is today.

aw, thanks cheryl, you are too sweet! and I got my books, thanks. Its fun to read about phases that we have already been through. I wish I had your book when they were younger.

your twosome are adorable. I can't wait for the day my kids experience some of the same things. **not to soon though**
