Mommy: "Guess what, Sarah? John McCain has picked a lady named Sarah as his vice-presidential running mate. And you know what else? She's only one year older than I am."

I wonder if you could hear my laughter through the computer screen? That is definitely the coolest part of kids, they just don't have that "filter" yet :)

How funny!! Kids are always great at telling it like they see it! Isn't it neat that our kids are growing up seeing that ANYONE can be whatever they want to be? Lovin' this time in our countries history...and I'm really proud to be a part of it all!

I was with my 5 year old nephew (now 20) on the beach and he starts playing with another little boy. The little boy says," I'm here with my grandma." Then he points to me.
"Is that YOUR grandma?"
I never wore that floral bathing suit again. (That's what I blamed it on.)
