Anatomy Refresher

Overheard while Darren was "supervising" Sarah's latest artistic endeavor...

Sarah: "Darren, that's not my nose! It's my uvula!"

The above book cover was the art mid-creation during the confrontation. Obviously, the uvula did not make the final cut. We're all looking forward to reading "Little Poems that Roar."

Today, I'm thankful...

Sarah and Double Daddy had a musical, munchy adventure at Sam Ash music and Chic-Fil-A last night.

For the soft, sweet harmonious snoring of Darren and Double Daddy in the mornings once Darren joins us after the clock says 7-0-0. [And for Sarah's knowing smile to me when she tucks herself into the crook of my arm -- joining the bedded bliss.]

And kudos to the mom of a kid who knows how to draw a uvula.

We taught our oldest lingual frenulum when she was learning how to point to parts.

Nothing like those weekend morning snuggles...

*giggles* So nice to find kids that even know what their "uvula" is! Gotta love the snuggles of little ones in bed with you. Happy Saturday, Cheryl!

So funny - Andy Griffith has an episode about a uvula and it is one of my favorites. What a smart girl Sarah is! Love her artwork as usual!
