Endeavors to hover less and foster twindependence more pepper my parenting of our now seven-year-old twins. No supervisory standing behind while hair is brushed, beds are made or fresh underwear donned.

I'd say they're pretty creative!
It is important not to hover though. Don't lose hope!
Thanks for joining in!
That's pretty funny. I'm soooo still in the hover phase.
That is funny...
A "When they aren't looking..."
post.
What else could you show as evidence that you are encouraging more indpendence.
What would happen if you let them clean the whole kitchen after dinner?
What would they buy if you let them do the grocery shopping?
(You would be with them of course just MUM.)
I see a great post future in this.
I love the one hanging on the wall!
you've been tagged...
check out my blog!
LOL! Toothpaste in my sink makes me crazzzzzy!
I actually snorted when I saw the one hanging on the wall! Your kiddos are sooo cute! Good for you for not hovering. That's a MAJOR accomplishment for Mommy's!! Thanks for brightening my Friday, Cheryl. :)
hee hee. At least it wasn't the kid sitting in the sink... or stuck to the wall ...
Ok.....that's just too funny. Isn't it funny how when you have two minds of the same age together they get soooo creative!! HA!
That's hilarious!
