A City in North Carolina...

...and one of my favorite storybook characters of all time.

Darren can be found daily on the sofa, on the floor, curled in a chair reading away. What's Finished this Friday in our house? My wait to "catch" Sarah reading on her own.

Now go on over to visit ThreeUnderTwo's Lit & Laundry to discover other web-wide projects achieving the checkered flag!

Okay I had this moment last night...both my girls who do not like reading both were spotted with their noses stuck into a book....I know how proud you must feel!

I can't wait to find Bella doing the same. We're so close but it still hasn't happened. She still only reads as homework, not on her own, although she could. I just keep reading with her, books full of suspense, hoping that she will get tired of having to wait for me!

Hey, y'all. Can I interrupt for a minute? I have a question. I am the proud grandfather of two sets of twin boys, one set 12 and the other 2. A question came up recently when I found that the lady I bought my house from had twins, a boy and a girl. They never reproduced. Does that ring a bell with anyone? Opposite twins cannot reproduce?
