Saturday Snapshots

Darren's loves the box-back literature much the way I did as a child...
Christmas Cookie crunches her pellets for her final Saturday breakfast with us. (Her family returns tomorrow. She'll be sorely missed)
Sarah sneaks in a little extra Spongebob in Dad & Mom's bed while Daddy bakes muffins downstairs.

How's your Saturday so far?
Post a picture...or two, or three...and share a glimpse into your weekend.

One last picture! Congrats to Devri of The Naulu Tribe who's won a copy of The Moms' Book: For the Mom Who's Best at Everything! Thanks to all who played along.

I have always liked the back of cereal boxes. Not so much when I was growing up but when my kids were little 30 years ago. That bunny is so cute, I am sure she will miss you too! Muffins! Sounds like a perfect Saturday so far. Hope your whole weekend is great.

Oh! We used to fight over who got to read the back of the cereal box in my house! We all loved to!!

Oops, I meant to play along but I forgot! Love the pictures especially the first one - I spotted a little Alabama shout-out with the flag placemat! What an awesome learning while you eat idea!!!

Yeah I am going to try to play alogn every week. It was fun to take a picture and post it right then. Very fun! Have a great rest of the weekend!

And yes we are known as the Jonas brothers at school also. The boys go to "school" that goes to a Kindergarden level and the girls are all in love with Chase and Cody because they are the "Jonas brothers". It's very cute. Even some of teachers had went home to their kids or grandkids and said we have the jonas brothers at our school now. Kind of funny.

Thanks for letting me type all that!

Wait a minute....I kinda got stuck at "while Daddy bakes muffins". My husband can't even boil the water for the Kraft mac-n-cheese!!!

My kids don't even seem to notice the cereal boxes unless there's some kind of toy inside (that's listed on the front of the box). And it seems that the cereal companies really never put toys in them anymore!

BTW, I was reading my Good Housekeeping magazine yesterday and I saw your name and your quote!!! I was like, "I know her"!!! How cool that you were included in the article!! Very sound advice you gave!
