Makes My Monday: The Other Side of the World

When I was She-Twin's age, the idea of the "Jetsons' phone," where you could be virtually face-to-face with the individual with whom you were conversing seemed the stuff of Walt Disney World's Tomorrowland...innumerable decades in the future.

This weekend, She-Twin and her beloved friend who recently returned to China arranged a Sunday morning (for us) / Sunday evening (for her) Skype session.

Timing and technology worked in concert---Making My Monday.

Next: Flying cars.

isn't it amazing?
We Skype with Nanny Deb in England all the time. Makes the miles not hurt so bad :)

pssst - flying cars are real! Google and see. I want one.

Skype is so amazing. My kids sometimes work on collaborative projects with classmates via skype. It's great for busy schedules when they can't physically get together. Now if we could only teach their grandma how to use it...
