Survival of the Fitters

The new school year has begun, and the new dance year begins soon.

School clothes have long been acquired, and last week, dance attire's turn.

After eight or so attempts, the perfect pointe shoes have been purchased...her fourth pair.

Two pairs of ballet slippers, tap shoes, lamb's wool, toe spacers, and three leotards also made it onto our account. She-Twin's growing as a dancer, and growing as a young lady.

Her three outgrown pairs of pointe shoes now hang from her bedroom wall---a wondrous reminder of her ever-increasing grace----in studio and stature.

Turning points, indeed.

Beware the accumulation! My Drama Girl ended up with a big box of old pointe shoes that finally had to go out to the trash. They get so sentimental over these things! It's great that she's found a brand and size that works for her, that's half the battle. How many many hours we have spent in shops just like you've pictured. I loved every minute.
